Dear Pastor,

I met you on Saturday and I have had a lot of things bothering me recently. I am dealing with depression, but after you prayed for me I felt an overwhelming joy, and relief from all my problems.

I feel like God led me to you because I was thinking about killing myself to escape from my problems at home, work, and socially. I follow your advice and read my Bible which I haven’t done for a while.

I still need prayer so I do not go down into another depression and end up killing myself over stupid things. I want to know God and you have led me back again.

Before you prayed for me, I had lost my trust in and dependence upon Jesus. Thank you for talking with and praying for me.

I now feel like a new person.
